Montenegro is the first non-EU country to have adopted Smart Specialization Strategy (S3). The main goal of the S3 is to modernise and increase the competitiveness of the Montenegrin economy by concentrating available research, natural and economic resources on a limited number of priority areas.

S3 should enable further intensive development of the subject priority areas, as well as the development of new sub-areas within them and development of new industries with strategic potential based on the synergistic interaction of the priority areas.

The station DGOR00MNE is included in the EUREF Permanent Network

We are glad to announce that from December 15, 2019 on, one new permanent GNSS station will be included in the EUREF Permanent Network : the station DGOR00MNE (Podgorica, Montenegro) is operated by the Faculty of Information Systems and Technologies, University of Donja Gorica. It concerns the station DGOR00MNE (Podgorica) which is operated by the Faculty of Information Systems and Technologies, University of Donja Gorica (see ftp://epncb.eu/pub/center/oper/FIST.OC).

MontePN Info day

October 20, 2019

At the University of Donja Gorica, on Thursday, October 17, the Info Day of the MontePN Innovative Project was held. The MontePN project is one of the innovative projects that obtained the grant of the Ministry of Science, whose holder is the Faculty of Information Systems and Technologies, University of Donja Gorica. The results of the work on the project were presented to the scientific and economic community of Montenegro.
